Warranty and Support

Penthia Solutions LLC
Effective: August 6, 2026

Penthia Solutions LLC provides this limited hardware warranty directly to its customers. It is separate from, and does not depend on, any warranty between Penthia and its suppliers.

This warranty applies to products purchased directly from Penthia Solutions LLC by the original purchaser.

1. Coverage period

Penthia provides a three (3) year limited hardware warranty from the date of delivery on eligible interactive display products purchased directly from Penthia.

Covered components:

  • Display panel
  • Touch system and touch frame
  • Android mainboard and internal electronics
  • Power board and power supply
  • Speakers
  • Built-in camera and microphone, where fitted
  • Windows OPS computer module, when purchased through Penthia

Remote controls, pens, cables, batteries, packaging, and similar consumable or easily lost items are not covered.

Accessories such as document cameras, wireless presentation dongles, and mobile stands carry their own manufacturer warranty term. Ask us for the term on a specific accessory before purchase.

Extended or modified coverage is valid only when it appears in the customer's written quotation or purchase documentation.

2. What this warranty provides

If a covered component fails under normal use during the coverage period, Penthia will, at its option, provide remote technical assistance, supply a replacement component, or replace the affected module or unit.

This is the customer's exclusive remedy under this warranty.

3. Conditions

This warranty applies only if:

  • The product was purchased directly from Penthia Solutions LLC
  • The purchase has been paid in full
  • The serial number label is present and legible
  • The product was installed and operated according to its documentation
  • Shipping damage was reported as described in Section 7

4. How to make a claim

Contact Penthia and provide:

  1. Customer or school name
  2. Product model
  3. Serial number
  4. Original order or invoice information
  5. A detailed description of the issue
  6. Clear photographs or video showing the problem
  7. Any troubleshooting already attempted

Penthia may request additional information before determining whether an issue is covered.

5. Diagnosis

A problem must be diagnosed before a warranty remedy is approved. The customer may be asked to restart or reset the device, check cables and connections, test a different input or source device, install an approved update, join a remote video support session, or provide system information, photographs, or recordings.

6. How service actually works

Please read this section before purchase, because it describes the practical limits of warranty service on equipment of this size.

Repairs are normally handled by supplying replacement components rather than exchanging a complete display. These products ship on pallets and returning a whole unit is often impractical.

Replacement components may be new, refurbished, functionally equivalent, or from a newer compatible revision. Replacement parts may be shipped internationally, and import duties or customs charges may apply.

Service timelines depend on part availability and international shipping and are not guaranteed.

Unless specifically stated in the customer's written order documentation, this warranty does not include on-site labor, installation or removal labor, remounting, expedited shipping, equipment rental, travel, a loaner unit, or reimbursement of third-party costs.

7. Shipping damage

Shipping damage is not a warranty matter and must be handled at delivery.

Inspect packaging before signing the delivery receipt. If damage is visible:

  1. Record the damage on the delivery receipt
  2. Photograph and video the packaging and product
  3. Notify the driver before the driver leaves
  4. Preserve all packaging materials
  5. Contact Penthia immediately

Failure to document visible damage at delivery may prevent a freight or insurance claim.

8. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Accidents, impact, dropping, misuse, or abuse
  • Vandalism
  • Cracked or broken glass from external force
  • Improper installation or mounting
  • Unauthorized modification, disassembly, or repair
  • Incompatible accessories, cables, stands, or power sources
  • Electrical surges, unstable power, lightning, fire, or flooding
  • Liquid exposure, excessive humidity, extreme temperatures, dust, or unsuitable environmental conditions
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect operation
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Lost accessories and consumables
  • Failure to follow operating, transportation, storage, or maintenance instructions
  • Software installed or modified by the customer or a third party
  • Malware, account problems, network configuration problems, or third-party services
  • Damage during customer-arranged transportation
  • Continued use after a problem becomes apparent
  • Damage caused by students, staff, contractors, installers, movers, or other third parties
  • Products purchased from anyone other than Penthia Solutions LLC

Software, firmware, and third-party application availability are not covered by this hardware warranty. Operating system updates depend on the component manufacturer and are not guaranteed for the life of the product.

9. Replacement parts and product lifecycle

Replacement parts may be available during and after the warranty period, depending on product age, supplier availability, and model status. Penthia cannot guarantee that every component, firmware version, operating system, or discontinued model remains available indefinitely.

10. Data and accounts

Warranty service may require resetting, replacing, or updating a device.

Customers are responsible for backing up files, signing out of personal and institutional accounts, removing confidential information where practical, and keeping copies of software licenses and configuration information.

Penthia is not responsible for lost files, account access, settings, applications, or data resulting from troubleshooting, repair, reset, update, or component replacement.

11. Transferability

This warranty applies to the original purchasing customer unless the written order documentation states that it is transferable.

12. No unauthorized warranty promises

Sales representatives, installers, contractors, and other third parties may not modify or expand this warranty. Changes are valid only when approved in writing by an authorized representative of Penthia Solutions LLC.

13. Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Penthia's total liability under this warranty is limited to the amount paid for the affected product. Penthia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost instructional time, lost business, or the cost of substitute equipment.

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.

14. Relationship to your purchase agreement

Where this warranty and a signed Penthia quotation, invoice, or purchase agreement differ, the signed document controls.
